The
Community Support Services Program
provides the necessary supports and services to individuals
with developmental disabilities, to achieve successful community
living. Individuals may live alone, with friends, with family,
in Family Care Homes, or in Individual Residential Alternatives.
What
does Community Support Services Offer?
- Service
Coordination to assist with arranging any and all
supports including medical, residential, SSI and other
benefits, vocational, clinical, programmatic, and advocacy
in accessing community resources.
- Residential
Habilitation Homecare to assist individuals in achieving
or maintaining independent living. Assist in acquisition
of daily living skills including money management, cooking,
meal planning, shopping, appointments, and home maintenance.
- Recreation
provides socialization and organized activities for children
and adults.
- Family
Reimbursement for services and goods required to care
for a developmentally disabled family member.
- Transportation
is provided for medical appointments, dental appointments,
and any other needs as requested.
- In
Home Respite/Sitter Services
- Family/Individual

Who
Can Receive Services?
Any individual who has a developmental disability, any family
who is caring for a family member with a developmental disability.
